Excellent Realtors
In late 2017 we listed our home in Key West, FL with Team Kaufelt of Truman & Company. They were recommended by friends that they had represented in past real estate transactions. Early 2018 was a tough market in the Keys because of all the recent hurricane damage and a volatile stock market. We let Team Kaufelt set the selling price and the market plan. They were extremely aggressive in marketing the property and a sales contract was written and closed in early April of that year.
I am a retired commercial Real Estate Broker in Indiana and Kentucky and have firsthand knowledge about the difference between a Realtor and an Excellent Realtor. Team Kaufelt are Excellent Realtors in my opinion and the following are the reasons I rank them as EXCELLENT.
- They aggressively marketed our property to all agents in Key West as well as her own clients, most Realtors hide their listing from other agents until they have exhausted their own client list, and
- Team Kaufelt completely assumed the management of our home (we are there only a few weeks a year) and coordinated with the pool people, landscapers, electricians, the caretaker and the housekeeper to insure the home was in a ͞ready to show condition͟ every day. When a repair was necessary they handled it immediately, and
- We were informed before every showing, and they personally visited the home well in advance of each showing to ensure that it was in perfect showing condition, and
- We were informed after every showing about the showing, the clients and their comments, and
- They aggressively followed up the following day either with the people the home had been shown to, or the Realtor from another agency that represented the clients the home had been shown to. We were then informed about the follow up and their opinion of the possibility of an offer, and
- Whenever I called, Team Kaufelt either answered or returned my call within an hour or two.
